Job description
DARA have been instructed to secure a Commercial Manager for a major infrastructure business who operate within the emerging markets. As the Commercial Manager, your mission is to develop their EU subsidiaries by delivering strategic commercial plans for projects involving, leading contracting and procurement processes. You will play a leading role in large infrastructure construction projects throughout Europe. The successful candidate will hold Infrastructure construction experience (rail, roads or energy).
Overview - Commercial Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify early project risks and opportunities
- Lead FIDIC and construction contracts
- Add commercial support at pre-tender stage | Pre-qualify compliance
- Build marketing and financial information for tendering processes
- Partner the Engineering division by developing Bid Prices.
- Produce monthly Payment Certificates | CVR reports and forecasts to record costs
- Maximise cash flow
What is needed?
- Degree qualified, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10-15 years' experience.
- Infrastructure experience
- Designed and established commercial procedures
- Proactive self-starter
- Foreign language skills are desirable
